A large franchise dealer with annual volume target of 800 retail sales, we were tasked with improving their finance and add on sales. Not only was this department underperforming on their unit target but were averaging £560 combined finance and add on profit per unit delivered, against a target of £1000.
Our initial implementation was a ‘full up deal stack’ using an ‘inclusive sale’ technique, which not only includes a first offer to do business with finance quotes and add-ons included but is supported by relevant (and compliant) hooks and anchors the entire way through the sales process. We showed this dealership how to activate ‘stealth mode’ enabling the team of 14 executives to ‘sell’, without their customers feeling ‘sold to’. A partnership sale as we like to call it.
